Arrival by rail

We are over a mile from Newbury, the nearest town, so transport may be required from the station.  We have the phone numbers of local taxi companies if needed.

There is plenty of parking for four cars.  Please come to the front door.

Check In

Between 5 & 8pm is normal, but you can arrange an early check in.

check out by 10.30am.

Our Bed & Breakfast is non-smoking throughout.

​

Children are welcome, under supervision of an adult.

​

No pets in the house or coach house.

​

Access within the House & Coach House

While we are unable to accommodate wheelchairs, we welcome disabled guests within the constraints of our house and coach house.  Please note all bedrooms are on the first floor with access by one flight of stairs with a banister one side.

Double/Twin rooms are made up as doubles unless Twin configuration is requested.

To access the dining room from the coach house is through the kitchen/family room or from the entrance hall in the house.

Outdoors

You are welcome to walk through the gardens and swimming pool.  All seating areas are available.

​

Lights will be left on outside the house for late night returning guests.

Fire Safety

There are fire extinguishers on all floors and all guest doors are fire doors. Fire exit directions are displayed in each room and are lit by battery backed emergency lighting.
